We are looking for a Technical Project Buyer for an internationally operating organization in the high-tech manufacturing industry. The company develops and builds complex technical installations and systems for industrial applications.

In this role, you will work in multidisciplinary project teams and be responsible for procuring technical components and services that are essential to the execution of client projects.

You ensure that materials are available on time, meet the specified quality requirements, and are procured within budget. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen and requires close collaboration with various disciplines within the organization.
You serve as the link between project management, R&D, and suppliers, and have a direct impact on the progress and success of projects.

Your responsibilities are:

• Coordinate the entire procurement process within technical projects;
• You ensure clear alignment of technical requirements with both internal and external stakeholders;
• You build and maintain a strong supplier network and ensure professional contract management;
• You request quotes and negotiate costs, delivery terms, and contract agreements;
• You oversee the bidding process and evaluate proposals based on technical and commercial value;
• You monitor the progress of deliveries and identify risks in the supply chain at an early stage;
• Focused on optimizing costs, quality, and delivery reliability;
• You ensure clear communication with project teams regarding progress and deliveries;
• You are committed to continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for?

• HBO-level education and thinking (technical/engineering);
• Approximately 5 years of experience in a procurement role within a technical or industrial environment;
• Experience with project-based work and an affinity for technical products, drawings, and specifications;
• You are available for a full-time role within a project-driven environment;
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders;
• Analytical, structured, and results-oriented with a solution-oriented mindset;
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
