As Logistics Team Leader, you are ultimately responsible for logistics activities in the broadest sense of the word. You manage a team of four people and act as a hands-on foreman. You are a true motivator and follow the principle of "leading by example."

You have good communication skills and are able to work under pressure. You have a collegial attitude, are a team player, and work accurately.

Your responsibilities will include:

• You are ultimately responsible for the warehouse;
• You lead your team, are visible on the work floor, and make adjustments where necessary.
• You ensure optimal deployment of employees;
• You monitor and have insight into the activities related to the incoming and outgoing flow of goods;
• You ensure a smooth process when loading, unloading, and checking goods;
• You ensure that the receipt of goods and supply of production runs smoothly.
• You manage the employees with regard to order picking and preparing customer orders for shipment;
• You work closely with employees and communicate clearly;
• You strive for a tidy working environment according to the 5S principle;
• You are focused on continuous improvement;
• You report to the branch manager.

Who are we looking for?

• HBO working and thinking level (preferably focused on logistics);
• you have the necessary managerial experience in the logistics world;
• You are available for 40 hours;
• has excellent computer skills (including Excel, Word);
• good command of the Dutch language and the English language;
• Knowledge of MW office and WMS systems;
• able to work well in a team within an international company;
• stress management and decisive;
• You are patient and a good listener.
• proactive and solution-oriented.
