Our client is an innovative organization in the manufacturing industry. To expand its engineering team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for industrial automation.

What will you be doing?
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing control software for machines and systems. You will work according to technical specifications and make a significant contribution to new developments and process improvements.

Your responsibilities:
• Testing, analyzing, and optimizing machines and systems;
• Developing and implementing new software solutions;
• Programming and modifying PLC controls (preferably Siemens S7);
• Supporting new product and system developments;
• Collaborating closely with various internal departments;
• Improving the functionality, reliability, and performance of machines.

Who are you?
• HBO-level education and thinking skills, for example in ICT, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Mechanical Engineering;
• 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
• Experience with embedded systems and industrial software development;
• Knowledge of PLC programming, preferably Siemens S7;
• Willing to travel internationally on an occasional basis;
• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented;
• Flexible and able to handle stress well;
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• Ability to perform excellently both independently and as part of a team.
