The function

For our client, we are looking for a commercial doer & thinker with a hands-on mentality. As an Inside Sales Specialist, you are the first point of contact for customers. It is your responsibility to take care of customers' concerns. You have a commercial attitude and identify opportunities in the market.

• Your tasks will also include:
• supporting key accounts and international account managers;
• preparing, following up on, and monitoring quotations;
• proactively building and maintaining good relationships with customers and suppliers;
• Occasionally, you will visit international customers and prepare a customer report based on these visits.
• updating price lists;
• you handle complaints;
• monitoring developments and trends in the market;
• analyzing and resolving customer questions and requirements;
• you are focused on continuously improving processes (customer) and working methods;
• You support the international account managers (key accounts) and maintain close contact with them.
• keeping track of administrative tasks.

In addition, it is important that you:

• You have a higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and/or thinking;
• Affinity with technology or logistics;
• you have at least +/-5 years of work experience in a similar international position;
• experience in a commercial position is an advantage;
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English (French or German preferred);
• You are flexible, responsible, and results-oriented.
