ABOUT THIS JOB OPENING

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will help build an environment in which stability, security, and scalability are key. You will ensure that the core systems continue to run smoothly (from cloud services to on-premises infrastructure), so that the company can rely on a solid technical foundation.

You will become part of a modern IT landscape that relies heavily on Microsoft technologies and automation. You will take the lead in designing and managing the technical backend and work closely with colleagues from both IT and the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Setting up and optimizing cloud and infrastructure components, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and the associated identity, server, and endpoint environments.

· Analyzing complex technical issues and independently finding sustainable solutions.

· Daily monitoring of systems, performing updates, and taking care of backups.

· Contributing to projects related to modernization, automation, and security improvements.

· Monitoring the performance, availability, and security of systems and applications.

· Supporting users with difficult issues and liaising with external partners when necessary.

· Continuously improving the infrastructure so that it grows along with the organization.

Job requirements

· A completed higher professional education degree

· At least 5 years of relevant experience

· You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English.

· Possesses demonstrable knowledge and experience in managing, optimizing, and securing Azure and Cloud environments.

· Experience in setting up and managing infrastructures and providing remote support to users

· In-depth knowledge of network management, security, identity & access, and authorization models

· Independently configure services within Azure or Windows environments

· Knowledge of Dynamics 365 is a big plus
