Function

We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Employee with a customer-oriented attitude. This is for an international organization in the Eindhoven region.

In this position, you will be responsible for the overall accounts payable administration and invoicing process, and you will also be in regular contact with your colleagues abroad. The invoicing process concerns invoices relating to the sale of products and services. You will be responsible for the invoicing process at an international level and will be in regular contact with internal customers in the relevant countries.

You report to the manager of the financial administration department (+/- 8 to 10 people). In addition, you will be analyzing information, management reports, and key performance indicators. You will make independent decisions and contribute ideas for improving processes. The content of the position is very broad and varied. You will ensure that all information is administered correctly and on time. You will be the point of contact for external parties.

Your duties will also include the following:

• You will be responsible for accounts payable administration in the broadest sense of the word;
• Taking care of invoicing to customers (including internal customers);
• Active monitoring of the invoicing process (focused on continuous improvement);
• You are the point of contact for the billing department;
• Processing sales orders within the ERP system and managing work orders;
• You link the cost items to the correct orders (sales);
• Increasing efficiency within sales and the invoicing process;
• Processing sales orders (monthly and periodically);
• Communicating with customers and keeping track of payments;
• Developing, preparing, and analyzing management reports;
• Collecting, validating, organizing, and explaining financial data.

Job requirements

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level (business economics or other financial education);
• At least 2 years of work experience in an (international) financial environment (prior knowledge of accounts payable/invoicing);
• Excellent command of spoken and written Dutch and English;
• Strong analytical skills and able to work under pressure;
• Team player, but also able to work independently;
• Flexible and accurate;
• You are eager to learn and understand things quickly.
