ABOUT THIS JOB OPENING

In this role, under the supervision of the Finance Director, you will be responsible for advising management on finance and related processes. You will assist the management team in controlling the financial management and optimizing the overall organization. You will support and advise management on planning and control, both when requested and on your own initiative. You will provide insight into the risks and opportunities for the organization.

You scrutinize processes and work meticulously. You are jointly responsible for the financial management of the organization and work closely with various stakeholders.

You analyze financial reports, investment analyses, cost allocations, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, budgets, annual accounts, and draw up multi-year plans. Your objective is to take management to the next level. You analyze and check information in relation to tolerances and the agreements made accordingly. You also focus on improving operational processes.

You have an enthusiastic, driven, and results-oriented personality with attention for your colleagues.

Your duties will also include:

• You support the finance department in achieving its goals;
• you are responsible for drawing up (financial) plans and budgets;
• Together with the Finance Director, you set objectives that must be achieved across the organization.

Job requirements

• You have completed a university degree;
• At least 5 to 10 years of work experience in a similar international position;
• good communication skills in Dutch and English;
• proficiency in MS Office;
• you have thorough knowledge of Business Intelligence tools;
• you are proficient in Excel;
• you are analytical and driven;
• You are strategically well-informed and can also switch gears decisively at the operational level.
• you are process-oriented and work in a structured manner;
• You have a strong personality and are tough.
