As Senior Commercial Product Manager, you are responsible for the international positioning of our client and its product portfolio.
You draw up a plan that enables you to deliver the ultimate value proposition to customers. This also gives you a competitive edge over your competitors.
You position the brand in such a way that it is launched onto the market in an innovative and passionate manner. You know how to position and launch a brand in a new market. Your goal here is to increase market share. This will be rolled out further in collaboration with the product managers.
You are responsible at a strategic level and fulfill an interdisciplinary role within the organization. You also develop a vision that highlights the added value of the product, which you promote in the market. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to arrive at the best solution for brand positioning. You draw up a plan for the pricing strategy and ensure that the brand is highly regarded in the market.
You know how to attract potential customers in a creative way and involve the right people within your organization in this process.
The Senior Product Marketing Manager draws up a business plan that is aligned with your organization's commercial goals. You coordinate the plan in collaboration with internal stakeholders (including sales and product management) and then develop it into a clear policy, process steps, roles, and responsibilities. You write proposals, set long-term goals, and work closely with internal departments.
With sharp analyses, you draw the right conclusions to implement the right go-to marketing strategies. You also launch targeted product introduction campaigns in collaboration with your team.
Responsibilities
- Putting international positioning on the map;
- Developing and implementing short- and long-term strategic product strategies;
- You liaise with the sales department to improve sales processes;
- Preparing product business plans and sales forecasts and translating external trends;
- Coordinating national and international events;
- Knowledge of Product Marketing;
- Managing the entire international product chain to increase the customer base and profitability;
- Initiating and implementing product innovations (to respond to changing market needs);
- Determining and implementing product positioning, pricing, placement, and promotion in consultation with various departments.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional education (marketing);
- You have experience in a role as a marketing or product manager;
- Experience gained at an international B2B organization.
- Approximately 10 years of experience in a similar position;
- You have achieved demonstrable success in international positioning;
- Technical affinity and knowledge of ET/ICT is an advantage;
- You are proactive and customer-oriented;
- Driven and a real go-getter;
- You are an innovative pioneer;
- You are commercially minded and have good communication skills;
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
